How To Reduce Anxiety Naturally

  1. Breathe: Practice deep breathing exercises, it calms you down quickly
  2. Mindfulness: Focus on present moment and observer your thoughts and feelings without judgement
  3. Meditate: Set aside some time to meditate, even if it is few minutes a day
  4. Exercise: Walk, Run, Bike, Dance, Cardio, Skipping, Jump, Jog do lots of physical activity
  5. Write a Journal: Pen your thoughts and feelings.
  6. Talk to someone: Reach out to a trusted friend or family member to talk about your feelings.
  7. Aromatherapy: Essential oils such as lavender, chamomile, scented candle
  8. Drink Herbal Tea: Chamomile tea, Valerian root Tea, Jasmine Tea, Cinnamon Tea
  9. Listen to Music: Calming music will relax you fast
  10. Take a warm bath or shower, calm your mind and body
  11. Cook: This takes your anxiety and will work for many people.
  12. Seek Professional Help: Seek help from a therapist.
  13. Limit Caffeine Intake: Caffeine increases anxiety, curb it.
  14. Use Positive Self-Talk: Talk to yourself positively, this would help boost your mind.
  15. Practice Self-Care: Engage in activities that make you feel good, take bubble bath, reading a book or watching your favorite movie. 
  16. Try Painting: Invest in a sketchbook and some colors and paint, practice your time with art.
  17. Get Plenty of Sleep: Rest for 7-8 hours daily
  18. Use a Stress Ball: Squeeze a stress ball, it relieves tension
  19. Watch Comedy Shows: It relaxes fast.
  20. Use 80/20 and 4 Quadrants: Know whether this anxiety is required or not
